Sonia Burns
Hi, I’m Sonia, a Derby- and Nottingham-based writer with deep Northern roots. I studied film in Sheffield, including scriptwriting with Richard, brother of Barry (Kes) Hines. I try to write poems which are both visual and visceral. My debut chapbook Umbra:philia was published in 2021 by Bearded Badger.
