Cara Thompson
I'm a writer, performer and artivist of Jamaican heritage based in Nottingham, UK. An Assistant Producer of GOBS Collective, Nottingham's Nature Poet Laureate and Wasafiri's current Writer in Residence, mypoetry has been featured and commissioned by Penguin Random House, Oxfam, Simon and Schuster and more. In 2021, I won UNESCO's international poetry competition Slamovision with my poem Island Screams.
