Marketing Yourself as an Artist is a half-day workshop designed for self-managed, independent, early- to mid-career creatives looking to build a sustainable career, grow a loyal audience and define a brand that feels authentic to who they are.
Led by ROB.GREEN, a self-managed artist who has carved out a full-time career in music and theatre without traditional industry backing, the session offers practical tools and grounded insights for navigating the challenges of self-promotion and brand development. Drawing from over 13 years of experience and lessons learned from building a personal brand across touring, streaming, composing and collaborating, Rob shares a real-world approach to self promotion and audience development that prioritises connection, clarity and self-care.
The workshop explores how to identify your artistic core, shape your story and create a marketing strategy that works with your lifestyle and mental well-being. Rob breaks down how to grow an audience from a grassroots level, communicate your value and build a sustainable strategy on your own terms, while retaining the soul of your work, and your personal drive.
Whether you are just starting out or refining and evolving your approach, this session helps you move forward with confidence and purpose, knowing that building a career does not require massive reach or budget, just a clear voice, loyal community and consistency.
